This week I have not really been going to robotics because of band. Our band competition is next saturday so we have been practicing. I've been following up on the science festival. Next week is fall break and this weekend is Rail Fair! So excited to go, and going to also be giving tax credits.

09/22/11

All week I have been helping Isabel with paperwork for AUVSI. I have been contacting more organizations for the Science Festival and I am also taking the programming workshop. Yesterday we had called HerWorld for a conference call about us doing a workshop there and we agreed. Also Legit and I have been coming up with a new design for our underwater robot for NURC.

09/01/11

All this week i have been helping Isabel with paperwork. Also I have been contacting organizations about the science festival. So far i got a TESLA :) and other cars, solar cookers, and trying to get other robotics teams. I have also been contacting and going to schools for FLL. A lot of schools don't have a coach to do the after school program because there not getting paid for it. Tuesdays and Thursdays I have been going to band. Now to go to a school Thursday with 3 other students to give a presentation about robotics. :)

For the past week I have been helping isabel and bianca wire things on the robot. Like the motors, fixing the encounters, lights.

1/24/11

On Saturday we all came and worked on the robot, team 39 had came to. We wired the motors and the fans to the power distribution board. Today I was helping with electrical on the robot, we were soldering the rest of the wires. Were also starting the schematics for AUV.

Yesterday we finished our electrical schematics. So today we are going to started painting our board, so we can start mounting.

Yesterday I was learning all about electrical. Isabel and Staphany were quizzing me on robot parts, there is a lot of stuff to remember. We also mounted the parts for AUV.

On Saturday was kick-off and it was a really great experience especially because I'm new to this. When we came back to the school we thought of different strategies to help us solve the mission and ate too.
